Brows
Brow mapping and shaping
A shape drawn on your face first with a pencil and a ruler, then shaped with wax or tweezers.
Hemant measures from your face, not from a template, and draws the line where the brow should start, arch and end. You look in the mirror, and he changes the drawing until you say yes. Only then does he remove a single hair. Tint and lamination can follow in the same visit.

Between visits

What happens in the chair
About 45 minutes, and up to an hour and a half with tint or lamination.
- 01
Step 1: Consultation
Hemant looks at the brows you have, the way the hair lies and the shape you are after.
- 02
Step 2: Mapping
He draws the start, the arch and the end on your face with a pencil and a ruler, and hands you the mirror.
- 03
Step 3: Shaping
Once you approve the drawing, he shapes the brow with wax or tweezers and trims the length.
- 04
Step 4: The finish
A tint or a lamination can follow, if you booked one. He shows you how to brush and keep the shape.
Good to know
Before you book
Skip plucking and waxing for two weeks before a first visit, so there is hair to map
A patch test before a tint
No retinoid near the brows that week
How often
A visit every three to five weeks
A tint or a lamination can be added to any visit
Every client is different, and Hemant says when to return
Afterward
Keep heat and steam away from the area for 24 hours
Skip makeup on the area that day
Keep tinted brows out of strong sun for a day
Two questions about brows
What if I don't like the drawing?
Say so. Hemant changes it, or starts the drawing again, until you like it. Nothing is removed before that.
Can I add a tint or a lamination?
Yes, to any visit. A tint comes with a patch test first, and Hemant will tell you if he can't offer it that day.

Hemant is a licensed esthetician. A deposit holds the visit and goes toward it, and 24 hours' notice moves it.
